Insightful!
Length of ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: The Ballet III DVD by Pastor Lynn Hayden is more advanced than her previous two videos. However, like the others, it is filmed in an actual church setting with the use of chairs as the barre. And although, the covered material is more in depth and gives you a bit of a challenge, I truly appreciate how Pastor Lynn first explains each technique and then has her assistant Nanette to demonstrate it with music, while she talks you through and shares important tips. This helps to lesson any anxiety one might have in regards to taking a “Ballet” class and also shows how it could be done almost anywhere.

Great!
Pros: I really enjoyed expanding my ballet skills! It is a continuation of the Ballet series, and you have the opportunity to combine all that you have learned and actually start dancing! It is obviously for the more advanced student, but it is presented in such a clear format that even non-dancers with basic knowledge of ballet can follow along.

Pros: This video has clear explanations and then the demonstration that helps the student to follow the instructions. Following this video is like having a teacher at home. It really is a treasure to have it and practice it.

Excellent resource!

Pros: I really enjoyed the variety of exercises and combinations presented. Many of the techniques were challenging, yet achievable through practice and dedication. These techniques promote improved flexibility, balance, and fluidity of movement.

Ballet III - Intermediate/Advanced - Video DVD
Length of ownership: 1 month-1 year
Pros: This DVD provides a challenge, nothing too easy or nothing too hard. This is a great video for an experienced dancer that is full of technique blended with Pastor’s Lynn creative choreography. And at the end of the DVD instead of doing traditional reverence, I loved how Pastor Lynn ended class giving reverence to God.
